What I Picture? Dunking a Steak in Early Gray and Taking a Big Bite

I was in the craft store by Osaka–cool place, they sell lots of crafts by local hobbyists and they sell Jamie Berger’s book–and I picked up a copy of Meat for Tea: The Northampton Review and discovered I was in it. It turns out that when you submit somewhere and then never hear back from the publication, you might have been secretly accepted. Yay! My CV/resume/literary empire grows.

  1. Jamie says:

Hey, who are you writing this and happy to find my book in Osaka? I’m also happy you found it there. Was it flying off the shelves?!?

  2. Gabe says:

This is Gabe of Noy’s Contemporary Lit class fame! I had to duck several times due to your book’s popularity. I’ve got a huge welt from the time I didn’t duck fast enough.

  3. Gabe,
I thought sure we’d contacted all of our contributors and given them copies, but we dropped a ball somewhere. I’d love to give that copy and welcome more submissions from you.
    So sorry,
Elizabeth MacDuffie, editor Meat for Tea: The Valley Review.
